Gilbert Arenas joining a club with Chad Johnson

The club specializes in making big guarantees and not quite being able to follow through.

Arenas said a few weeks ago that the Portland Trailblazers would be his next 50 point game, as he was going to punish coach Nate McMillen for leaving him off the US Olympic team.

He's currently 3-13 from the field and 0-7 from three point range for 9 points a few minutes into the 4th quarter.

I'm not sure what size shoe he wears, but I'm guessing he's gonna have a hard time fitting his foot in his mouth. At least he didn't send Portland players Pepto Bismol though

He should of kept his mouth shut but he also should of been on the Olympic team. He is the best shooter in the NBA right now.
Not this year...maybe a Wild Card

I hate to disagree with you, but there is no way Agent Zero is anywhere near the best shooter in the NBA, as far as just pure shooting ability goes. He's currently 54th in 3pt shooting % at 36% and 106th in FG% at 41%. Now he takes a lot of contested shots so you have to bump him up a few spots higher than that. But as far as just pure shooting at the top of the list in the NBA I'd put Mike Miller, Nash, Raja Bell and Jason Kapono at the top of the list.

Sorry for the unwarrented rant but shooting the basketball is something near and dear to my heart.

Yeah, I'd say Kapono is by far the best shooter in the league right now. I used to watch him with the Cavs and during pregame warmups the guy would drain shot after shot without missing one. Given, it's only practice, but it shows the guy has a great natural stroke. He's also leading the league in 3PT %.

Gilbert HAS been clutch this year though.

Kapono is really consistent this year, but over the last five years I'd have to say Ray Allen is the best, with Michael Redd as a second choice. Allen is the choice because he can create his shot, run off picks and do it all. If he got to choose his shots and spots like Kapono - he'd probably shoot .600.

Well if you're not talking about just shooting the basketball then of course you take Ray Allen over those guys. But pure shooting ability, the more I think about it I'd probably take Steve Nash. The guy's stroke is flawless. Allen has a tendency to shoot the ball too flat, and there is so much less margin for error when you shoot the ball flat. Of course that can come from trying to get the ball off too quickly because he's keyed on so much by the defense, but I've seen him fire line drives at the rim even when he's wide open. When he's on it doesn't matter, but you can't be on all the time so it helps to get a little arc on the ball to give yourself a better chance.

Was it me or did Chad predict a win against the Chiefs?
