Tony Kornheiser back on the radio

For you Tony Kornheiser fans, starting this week, Tony Kornheiser is back on the radio weekdays from 8:30-10:30 (live) and 10:30-12:30 (taped) at http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv...dio/index.html. If your not in the DC area, there is a audio stream from that site.

The only regular from his old show is Nigel--Andy Pollan won't be with him (he told me he's under contract at his old station until the end of the year) and Gary Braun went to the John Riggins Show on another station.
    Where we gonna go?

He's also back on XM [I assume this show simply being simulcast] on XM 144 [I think]

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:

Actually, they won't be running the show on XM until March 5 (9-11).

Did he lose his gig on ESPN or has he just decided to work more?

He's doing one more season of MNF and will continue to do PTI, but he's been doing some type of radio show in DC since the early 90's. He stopped doing it last summer to go on MNF and will do it from now until late June and then pick up again after football season.

I always liked TK when he was on Espn radio. He always had some interesting quirks that kept the show interesting. Like Old Guy Radio and not being able to say Hi ya doing when you called the show.

this is great news....i love listening to tony...it is disappointing though that andy pollan wont be on the new show....he and tony played off of each other well...of course i will be listening on xm unless the xm/sirius merger affects it...also, i never got the jim rome/tony kornheiser feud; if you like one you shouldnt like the other--i enjoy them both...
