All I Have To Do Is Dream - Everly Brothers
    Travelin' Man - Ricky Nelson
    Crying - Roy Orbison
    He's A Rebel - Crystals
    Johnny Angel - Shelley Fabares
Sealed With A Kiss - Brian Hyland
    Wipe Out - The Surfaris
Be My Baby - The Ronettes
He's So Fine - The Chiffons
My Boyfriend's Back - The Angels

I like all of these, too. I'd add Cathy's Clown by the Everly's as well as Bye-Bye Love.
I'd also add Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow - The Shirells, that's one of my faves from that era.

Darn hard, this is. Hmmm... my "favorites" rotate in and out a lot. Hard to pick ten of them, but here's a shot at it:

    "Enjoy the Silence" Depeche Mode
"Last Night I Dreamt Somebody Loved Me" The Smiths
"Design For Life" Manic Street Preachers
    "Let It Be" The Beatles
"Better Be Home Soon" Crowded House
    "Anesthesia" The Church
    "Heal" The Catherine Wheel
    "True Faith" New Order
    "Limelight" Rush
    "Unfinished Sympathy" Massive Attack
We'll burn that bridge when we get to it.

    This is brutally tough.

So I'm going to have to give you the changeable canon:

    1. Overdose--AC/DC
    2. Debaser--Pixies
    3. Heroes & Villains--Beach Boys
    4. Sweet Leaf--Black Sabbath
    5. Found a Job--Talking Heads
    6. Killer--Alice Cooper
    7. Big Sky--The Kinks
    8. Needle in the Camel's Eye--Brian Eno
    9. Tennessee--Silver Jews
    10. Rise Above--Black Flag

Eh, thanks VP! After I wrote, I started thinking of all the songs I *didn't* list. Gah, it really can't be limited to just 10. I feel your pain.

    It is extremely hard.

I'd like to find a way to get "panic" by the smiths in there too.
School's out. What did you expect?

The hit that wasn't supposed to be. Perhaps the highest bit of irony from an all-around ironic band.
