Can we really call Deno a young player anymore though? He's entering into what should be the prime of his career. I guess he is young in terms of experience though.

On November 10, 2006, the Cincinnati Reds signed Crosby for the 2007 season. Crosby agreed to a 1-year contract that pays $400,000 while he is in the majors, and $75,000 in the minors [2]. By signing him to a Major League deal, Cincinnati protected Crosby on its 40-man roster. But he's not assured a 25-man roster spot for Opening Day 2007, and is in spring training competing for a job as a reserve outfielder.

If the REDS front office can't see that Bubba Crosby is wasting valuable Spring Training at-bats from other players, then I hope Crosby breaks his leg soon and makes the decision for them.

    Nice.

And you got on me for calling a player "junk" a while back.
