I have no idea why but for the longest time when Robert Palmer sang 'might as well face it you're addicted to love' I heard 'might as well face it you're a stick in the mud'.

One of the lyrics I always mess up is from Highway to Hell.

    My lyrics
    Living easy, living free
Satan take us on a one-way ride
"...You just have a wider lens than one game."
--Former Reds GM Wayne Krivsky, on why he didn't fly Josh Hamilton to Colorado for one game.

"...its money well-spent. Don't screw around with your freedom."
--Roy Tucker, on why you need to lawyer up when you find yourself swimming with sharks.

Re: YOur Personal Misheard or Incorrect Lyric Favorites

This is one I heard from someone else for Jimmy Buffett's "Come Monday"

"I've spent 4 lonely days with a brown Elly Hayes..."

instead of "I've spent 4 lonely days in a brown LA haze..."

Now I crack up everytime I hear that song.
I didn't know what he was saying there until I was in my early 20s.

I would always sing, "I spent four lonely days in a brown paper bag," just because I couldn't for the life of me figure out what he was saying.

A buddy of mine was terrible at lyrics:

Eminence Front by The Who was "living In A Swamp"

On "She's So Cold" by The Stones the line "I'm so hot for her" was "I'm so Ho-ho-Hot"

"It's So Easy" by Buddy Holly was "It's A Weeny, to fall in love"

Signed Sealed Delivered was "Here I am Baby, Tryin' to get your liver"

My wife will never live down thinking that the line from Jailhouse rock that goes "The prison band was there and they began to wail" was "The Prison man's name was Dan and they began to wail"

I remembered a couple more, these from my dad.

10th Avenue Freezeout was 10 Devils in the Freezer

The Neutron Dance by the Pointer Sisters was The Yukon Dance

Lay Down Sally by Clapton was Way Down South

    Man, I miss my dad

Eminence Front by The Who was "living In A Swamp"
Eminence Front used to be 'Him and his front' in Houston.

Styx once had a song, and to this day I'm not sure what the lyrics were but it sounded like they were singing...

    Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto, domo...domo
    Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto, domo...domo
    Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto, domo...domo
Thank you very much, Mr. Roboto

I knew a guy who thought "Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap" was "Dirty deeds, Thunder Cheese." What that even means, I have no idea but it still cracks me up.

If you listen to the live version its been said that they sing "sees a ni**** on a one-way ride"

Sorry for the language. But Howard Stern spent a twenty minutes replaying it and replaying it - and it sounds like that.
"I came here to kick ass and chew bubble gum... and I'm all out of bubble gum."
    - - Rowdy Roddy Piper

"It takes a big man to admit when he is wrong. I am not a big man"
    - - Fletch

Never heard that before, but it was one of the lyrics on the website pedro posted.
"...You just have a wider lens than one game."
--Former Reds GM Wayne Krivsky, on why he didn't fly Josh Hamilton to Colorado for one game.

"...its money well-spent. Don't screw around with your freedom."
