Any chance he can put up better numbers than Milton?
Has Saarloos gotten any starts yet. I know Paul Wilson is already getting his second. Kirk has a chance to be a damn good #3 starter, and if he ends up in the bullpen while Wilson gets chance after chance it will be one of Jerry's dumbest moves ever.
C'mon guys. I've been told many times Milton is set for a breakout year.
if they move the bailey threads to the minor league forums, they should also move santos there as well.
Victor Santos is a Non-Roster Invitees, same as mr bailey.
but he does look good
I'm tempering any enthusiasm for Santos.
The guy's had innumerable chances to prove himself in the bigs, and hasn't.
A couple of spring training appearances shouldn't carry as much weight as two plus seasons worth of failure.

When he won 11 games in 28 starts for the Brewers in 2004, he only logged 154 innings on the season. He seems like the kind of guy that would be more effective in relief.
I would like to see him in against the meat of a lineup before I make any judgements. Mowing down minor league hitters isn't doing it for me right now. I would say the same for Salmon too, I would like to see both of these guys get in against tougher batters.
