Stanford is getting a taste of what it is like to play in the Big East.
Its a different league folks. Syracuse went to Louisville and lost by five despite going on about a ten minute drought in that game.
Stanford would be 12-18 if they were a Big East team. Allowing them in the tourney shows the danger of inviting teams that aren't as good just because of the sexy SOS.

The REASON UK fans give Rick a hard time is because we're SO incredibly, painfully aware of just how GREAT of a coach, recruiter, and motivator Rick is which is what made losing him so difficult to swallow.
And NO, he'll NEVER get a "warm" reception as long as he's coaching, especially while at Louisville.
Some day, though, many years from now when his days as a coach are finished, he'll be received warmly whenever visiting Rupp and openly venerated by the Wildcat faithful for his wonderful contributions to the University of Kentucky.
