Price actually had 56 in that game.

once rang up 56 points against Loyola-Marymount in a performance that included an NCAA-record 11-of-19 effort from three-point range.

Also thought you guys would be interested in this, I sort of stumbled across it by accident through google, interestingly enough it is from the Enquirer. It is the 50 things we love about March Madness:

    Here is a sample:

    27. Neutral sites. Not since John Wooden's Bruins cut down the nets in LA in 1972 has a team won a title in its home city. Nothing says NCAA Tournament quite like a first-round Boston College-BYU matchup in Boise.

    28. Jerry Tarkanian's towel

    29. Chris Webber's timeout

    30. Keith Smart's swish from the corner

    31. Danny Ainge's drive

    32. Rumeal Robinson's free throws

    33. Christian Laettner's turnaround jumper. He catches Grant Hill's fullcourt pass, he twists, he shoots ... he scores, beating Kentucky 104-103 in double-overtime.

    34. Loyola Marymount 149, Michigan 115, 1990. Jeff Fryer hit 11 of 15 3-pointers in the highest-scoring game in tournament history.

    Its only one of 16.
Well I'm down to the sweet 14.

I too had Nevada and UNLV winning and it is funny, I feel good about those picks despite the fact that they were 7s as you said.

I'm in a tie for first right now in this but not ready to gloat.

Who else did you lose, Razor?

Duke. I root for them almost as much as IU, and so I picked them even though I didn't feel good about it. But the Elite 8 is still intact. Wisconsin gave me a scare though. After watching that game I really think that Tex AM CC was miss seeded, they were better than a 15.

Looks like the monkey running things on Ch. 12 was up to no good. First they had the satellite feed on camera counting down the CBS Evening News, then they switched it to Ch. 25, then back to the news and finally back to the game.

Kentucky's coaching staff reported the wrong Perry as a starter.

Randolph Morris turned in maybe his best, most complete performance as a Wildcat tonight.

Incredibly active, good passes, demanded the ball, drew contact, incredibly strong rebounding presence, no stupid fouls... very nice.
