    Paul Janish is today's cut

    Nothing surprising, but according to Trent's blog Janish got reassigned to minor league camp today. That leaves us with an even 40 in camp according to my count, removing Guardado, Perez and Keppinger because of their injuries.

    I don't know why I can't find this, but what is the nature of Keppinger's injury, anyway?

    Keppinger broke his ring finger on his right hand. He is out until early to mid April.

    And hopefully moved into a nice, plush Louisville apartment soon after.

    Wasn't his finger broken as a result of being hit by a pitch?

    <princeton>

    pitch him

    Good spring training performance or no, Janish needs a good '07 at AA to stay on the radar screen. He's already 24 and not already on the 40-man roster.
