    Manny Ramirez is selling...

    his grill on ebay.

at this point in the bidding, I don't think the grill is such a good deal. But $70 to ship that thing seems like a steal.

    Current bid: US $16,300.00
Hi, I`m Manny Ramirez. I bought this AMAZING grill for about $4,000 and I used it once... But I never have the time to use it because I am always on the road. I would love to sell it and you will get an autographed ball signed by me =] Enjoy it, Manny Ramirez.

I dont think his ball is worth the 12k extra

After he admitted to a Boston Globe reporter that it's his neighbor's grill, and he just posed for the picture as a favor.

Just wait a few days and Manny will change his mind and pull the auction.

Gee, I have a feeling there will be quite a few bid retractions - and possibly some members will find their accounts no longer work.

Either that, or some people are thinking they get Manny along with the grill.

It would be a little more than chuckleriffic if he actually sues the guy who bid $99,999,999....

The only recourse he'll have is to file a NPB report (non-paying buyer) to get his fees credited back. He will then also have the ability to make a second chance offer to the next lower bidder.

I suspect that eBay will instead suspend the auction to clear it up. Certainly the vast majority of those bids are bogus. Usually it's some dot com or a casino that buys this stuff and they're paying for the publicity. But not to the tune of $100 Million!
