    MVP-Enrique Cruz....

    At least this game.

And if he wasn't playing so well it would be hello 60 day dl, long rehab assignment and sept call up to get in the necessary ml time.

    I missed that....

back to Cruz....looking at his minor league stats, both hitting and fielding...they look terrible...especially his fielding for how poor a hitter he is.

    He looked great today.

    http://www.thebaseballcube.com/playe...que-Cruz.shtml

Tons of errors whether he played 3rd or SS...and he always played on bad teams.....he's walked less and struck out more as he's gone up in levels.

    Again,....he looked great today.

That would be a way to "send" him to the minors without violating the Rule 5 draft rules...

Maybe I shouldn't be giving them any ideas...

I believe he said that 5th guy needs to be able to swing as a long reliever as well, and Milton is not able to do that. Lohse will be #3, so that makes Milton #4 and Belisle/Sarloose #5.

Has Narron said why Milton can't be a long reliever? Could he suck any worse?

I don't think so...I didn't hear the interview, this is what I recall being the reason why Milton is not #5.
