I rarely root against a Reds player but since I disagree with everything Redsupport posts I have to figure that Santos is a mirage. I'll trust what I saw last year over a few scoreless innings in Spring Training.

If Redsupport was drooling over him I might feel the same way.

Alot of people are high on Burton. I don't think Redsupport was drooling over him either.

Let's be REALLY clear... Santos was not facing Jeter, Giambi and A-Rod. He faced Yankees named Basak, Chavez, Garrett, Phelps, Pratt and Sardinha. Umm, he better get those guys out and he will again... in Louisville!

True...but it's not just last year but rather his whole career.
As Joe said last week, the guy has been very hittable.
Sorta reminds me of a Joey Hamilton or Jimmy Anderson type in they look like a totally different pitcher in ST. Then the club takes them north and ...

From what I saw from Santos he looked not very over powering. He was getting outs but the outs were hard outs. I just wasnt impressed.

Because we don't yet know what a youngster will do until he's done it.

Santos has proven repeatedly that he is cannon fodder in the Big Leagues.

I think it's time for De La Ho.....I mean redssupport to find a new guy to annoy us with.
