Guess Narron was serious when he said the regulars will be getting some needed rest.

Juan Castro at DH. That's something you aren't going to see very often.

This is one of those "If a Cincinnati Red hits a HR today all fans in attendance will win season tickets" lineups.

That's certainly a curious move. Must be late March.

Yeah, and somewhere John Allen is snickering at the brilliant idea he came up with....

Mark Bellhorn is probably the defination of term filler. I assume he'd have been cut by now if not for all of our injuries.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Why hasn't Conine been starting at first the past few days? (Or at all the past few days?)

He isn't listed among the walking wounded.
    Makes all the routine posts.
