I hope so too. I don't have a lot of hope for that though. He was barely topping 86 when I saw him pitch here in Portland last year.

This will put those "can't get any worse than Milton/use one of the youngsters" to the test as Mosley could have been one of those options had he not been jetisoned.

Good for Moseley -- and it's almost like the Reds developed a starter.

I heard he's very happy to be cutting the hair of the Twins.

Yeah. It's been awhile. We'll take credit for this one.

If by develop you mean was he once in our system, then yes. But by that definition we also developed Trevor Hoffman.

Still sucks -- but lets be real, I'm not going to lose much sleep over Dustin Mosley being the 5th starter on the Angels.

I'd rather have Belisle or Saarloos as my #5 guy 10 days out of 10.

I'm pretty sure all of Hoffman's minor league time was in the Reds system so it's accurate to say he was developed by the Reds. The Reds mistake was not putting him on the 40 man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft. He had receive some rave reviews before that draft so it was a little suprising the Reds didn't protect him.
