And you thought Narron's lineups were bad?

Yadier Molina is batting 5th for the Cardinals.

HAHAHA Wilson's batting 2nd. I love this lineup!

The Cardinals have two good hitters in that lineup - Pujols and Rolen.

Carpenter doesn't look too good so far. He's allowed two runs on 6 hits in 3.2 inning while walking one and hitting one. That's eight baserunners in 3.2 IP. Mets lead 2-0 and have the bases loaded for LoDuca.

LoDuca 2-run single! 4-0 Mets with Beltran up.

Beltran RBI single, 5-0 Mets. Carpenter is getting hammered.

Inning finally over as Delgado groundsout into the shift.

Why does it look like Eckstein is putting everything he has into every throw he makes?

Is his arm honestly that bad?

Worst major league arm I've ever seen. The Cardinals need to send Kennedy over to cut off his throws on groundballs to SS.

I know it's really presemptious, but I was thinking when they went over the Cardinals rotation that this team has a good chance to be pretty bad. Kip Wells and Braden Looper in the rotation? Banking on unproven starters in Reyes and Wainwright? Jocketty's definatly rolling the dice...

Braden Looper? They are desperate. Good news for us. And.. If this game keeps up this way, we're half a game up already. Wire to wire anyone?

David Wright singles to leadoff the 5th. Nine hits off Carpenter.

They got into Carpenters head early in this game with small ball, advancing the runners and not swinging at stupid pitches.

It was something like 63 pitches in 3 2/3 innings.
