I'm not the biggest fan of Santos, but good lord, what a crock if they keep some broken down soft-tossing carbon copy of Weathers, Stanton, et al.

I've seen an excellent bullpen carry an otherwise mediocre team, but I've never seen a team get anything but totally undermined by a weak bullpen, no matter how good they are in other areas (cf. 1990s Mariners).

hermanson got by early because he was throwing all sliders and splitters(looked scared to throw his fastball). Once the batters get their timing down a little better the charade that is his stuff has been exposed.

I'd keep Santos over Hermanson, but not over Burton or Coutlangus.

With Milton likely headed to the DL, you could keep Santos, Burton, and Coutlangus.

The lowest acceptable payroll amount for ownership to show they are not greedy pigs is 15 million more than they are currently paying. No matter what that currently is.
