    Opening Day is April 2nd.

    Tradition.

    The REDS play first.

Then, as it should always be, the rest of the teams play after that.

I will boycott watching any game that's before the traditional Opening Day game.

There's no such thing as Opening "Night".

    Baseball begins Tomorrow.

    calm down.

i wish we had the real first opening mlb game too.

but the reds haven't had it for the last few years.

if you want to make a real difference say, i will boycott every game mlb has.
(but you wouldn't do that because it would be stupid.)

what difference do you think you will make not watching one espn game?
not much if any at all.

On the plus side, we could start tomorrow up on the Cardinals by half a game.

Honestly, I think the real problem is that the Reds are never the last team playing.

Let some other schlubs go first -- I want to Cincinnati to be playing AFTER everyone else is done.

This tradition has been ruined for years now. Remember when we were in this Sunday night game against the redbirds back in the 90's.
