To be fair, even if he had given up a hit tonight, he still would have been at 0.00.

Unless that hypothetical hit would have hypothetically traveled over the fence.

And it will happen. He will "play to the back of his baseball card" as cliche goes.

Santos comes in and gives up a 3 run double, then walks the next batter.
    His ERA is still 0.00...

    Re: santos still 0.00

I'm thinking it's goiing to be a hard fall....

Marty said yesterday that Santos gave the Reds no choice but to carry him on the 25 man out of spring. It's not really santos though IMHO.

His BABIP was .185 in spring and it's .100 so far this season. It's a hard sell to convince me a guy best used against lefties when the bases are empty and who is just pitching to contact will be able to maintain this current string...
"This isn’t stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. Mariner
