Nice to see a Cincinnati boy (and also a fellow OHHS alum) at the top of the leader board.
    Go Brett!

Rich Beem is playing well. It's always great to see that.

Tiger bogeyed the first hole today. He's now +2.

Watched the Masters recap show last night and they said that #1 played as nearly the hardest hole on the course, very closely behind #11, both Par 4's. They said that numerous players started their first round yesterday with a bogey or worse yesterday.

    Go Brett!
Brett is one under through the first 9 holes today. He is the leader currently at 4 under par.

Tiger now +3 (for the tournament) thru 4 holes. Amazingly he is in 26th place. Still right in it.

You can get live scoring here:

The course is playing very tough. I predict after another tough day today that the greens will get watered heavily overnight to set up a Saturday birdie fest.

Tiger bogeyed the 7th again today, a par 4. He's now +3 for the day and +4 for the tournament. He is tied for 40th place. He better play brilliantly for the rest of the day and birdie both Par 5's on the back. He can't afford to drop to +5 and finish there. He needs to be at least at +3 if he's going to make a run on the weekend, IMO.

The big move today is being made by Vijay. He is -2 today and has climbed 12 spots into 3rd. I didn't pick him in our pool but I had a feeling he might play well. He has already won twice this year and he wants some more majors.

Singh is on the 7th right now.

Yeah he does. I expected the leaders to give some back, but Wetterich has played great through 13.

Correction, Jerry Kelly has made the biggest move. He is up 24 spots to T4. He is -4 for the day after 8 holes.

A birdie on the Par 5 8th brings Tiger back to +3 and tied for 24th. I think he knew he had to have that. Now he needs to play smart the rest of the day and take his chances on the Par 5's on the back. He should pick up two strokes on those holes. He just can't give any back on the others.

Up and down round for Tiger. He needs to play well on the back...

And Wetterich gives two back. I think if Tiger can finish E or +1 after today, he'll be in great shape to win it.

Casey comes two inches from aceing 12 and Tiger puts it in the water. Come on Tiger.
