    Bullpen

    6.2 ip, 3 hits, 5 walks, 4 k's, 0 runs

I like how Narron has managed the pen in these three games. Maybe would have yanked Burton after 2 bb's yesterday. Coffey gave up those inhereted runners yesterday as well. But so far, I feel pretty good. Enjoying Santos' start as well. He has a lot of confidence right now.

The only move I haven't liked so far was going to Stanton instead of just going straight to Coffey last night. Other than that, no complaints.

...especially since he was called upon in a situation where you had to figure Piniella would sacrifice, and then Stanton was to intentionally walk the next hitter. That sequence was puzzling to me as well, including bringing Arroyo back out for the eighth.

Either way, I think we can all agree that the pitching as a whole has been better than expected. That line from the bully and then the starters each going 6 for the first time in 15 years. Take away Arroyo's 8th last night and we're on with 3 quality starts. Promising stuff. Now let's score some runs.
I'm just like everybody else. I have two arms, two legs and 4,000 hits."
