For as much crap as he got for the trade...............

It's Krivsky. He's the one brining these guys in.

When was the last time you can say 4 guys in the rotation all have plus stuff? Harang, Arroyo, Loshe, and Belisle all have plus stuff.

So far, so good for the bullpen this year. Weathers, Santos, Saarloos, and Stanton have all pitched well.

    Not quite....only 1.75.

Pole could be a difference maker, but don't overlook Hume getting back into his 'element' of working with the bullpen guys every day.

That's right. There was an unearned run in there.
All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.

Just chiming in for the first time since page one of this thread. Glad to have a Reds win...but we'll need a couple more wins so that I don't have to hear it up here in Pittsburgh.

A co-worker sent me a text message at the end of the game saying..."well, your Reds beat us...but at least our uniforms still look better"

    .....Hahahahahahah......hahahahahahahaha! Pirates uni's better? Riiiiight!

I'm not sold on that. He's really lights out the first 30 pitches and by 60 he's getting lit up.

I think he's a better option then Livingston or Milton. I wouldn't mind a trade though.

Thanks! I forgot Harang's run was unearned.

I guess you answered the question. The sinker might lose it's bite after a couple of innings, or the batters may learn to not swing at it, making him throw it up in the strike zone, in later innings. Keep him in the bullpen.
