    Chattanooga Top of the 2nd

    1. Chris Dickerson is human and grounds out to second base to make his first out in 6 at bats this season.

    2. Jay Garthwaite works a full count before taking a walk down to first base.

    3. Seems to be a mix up with the line up and Ryan Hanigan is batting where Gutierrez was supposed to be batting according to the announcers, but they are actually flipped. Hanigan chops it to second and they turn a double play to end the inning.

    Still tied at 0.

    4. Ball in the dirt, runner goes to third but Hanigan throws the ball into the outfield and allows the runner to score. Ground out to end the inning.

Sounds like Johnny had some command issues tonight......

He had the same problem last year when he first arrived in Sarasota.
Back to following MiLB; there's always hope for tomorrow!

Cueto's fall from grace!!!!! Just kidding. I don't get overly upset about early starts as pitchers sometimes need several starts before they get in mid-season form(take "the savior" Homer Bailey's inconsistant starts in Sarasota april-may 2006). If he is still struggling by June 1st, then I will begin to worry.

Matter of fact, Bailey may have some ugly starts his first few as well.

    Chattanooga bottom of the 3rd.

    Crap, I lost the PBP.

There was a single, a sacrafice that got him to second, a wild pitch that got the runner to third followed by a single that scored a run. Next batter flew out somewhere in the outfield. Strike out to end the inning.

    Lookouts trail 2-0.

    Louisville update

Anderson Machado had a single with the bases loaded to score 2 runs, Tyrell Godwin reached base, then Bellhorn singled to score 2 more runs. Joey Votto then singled and the bases are loaded with no outs for Earl Snyder.

Currently 8-1 in the 6th inning.
