    By the way, I remember when that trade was mooted that the only question was whether the Reds would receive Ramon Ortiz or John Lackey. Good God, we got the short end.

    There was never any way we would have ever got Lackey for Mosley. It might have been mooted by some posters here, but it wasn't realistic.

    When the trade was leaked on RZ, all they said was that we were getting a starter from the Angels, and didn't mention who we were giving up. I was hoping at the time that it would be Kearns for Lackey, instead we got Eric Milton Part II.

    That was an O'Brien special, trading actual talent for a guy days away from being DFAed.

    Mosely's stuff is brutally bad. He is a "let the hitters warm up" type that will get blasted later in the season IMO. He got shelled last year(and will soon enough).
