Injury update: Of the eight players currently on the disabled list, Narron expects outfielder Norris Hopper (right heel) to return first.
"Hopper's expected to play in an extended spring game," Narron said. "He could be ready pretty quick."
Hopper batted .359 in 21 games for the Reds last season. He was competing for a reserve outfield spot prior to being injured late in Spring Training.
Infielder Jeff Keppinger (right ring finger) is throwing long toss.
Right-hander Elizardo Ramirez (right shoulder) has begun throwing off the mound.
According to Narron, left-hander Eric Milton, who is currently on the 15-day disabled list with lower back stiffness, is expected to be reinstated in time to start Sunday's series finale against Pittsburgh.
