    4/8/2007 Minor League Game Updates

Louisville and Chattanooga are the only teams that play today, and they start 3 hours apart, so hopefully we can do some PBP for each game. I will take on the duties of PBP for the Lookouts game which starts at 3:00. I will post a reply and just keep editing in PBP inning by inning so the thread isnt so cluttered.

Thanks OBM... Griffey was up and drove in the runs and I was half paying attention and missed it.

Lecure is on a roll, striking out the side.

Lecure has never been a high walk guy, so the 4 walks came as a big surprise to me.

I think what Lecure has to prove this year is that his average stuff won't lead to fizzling K rates as he moves up the ladder. Obviously he can't keep walking a batter an inning and expect consistent results, but 6 strikeouts in his AA debut is a good sign.
