"This isn’t stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. Mariner
Ibanez is generally a below average defensive leftfielder...whe he makes catches like that, we might be watching something really special tonight...

Is it perfect or just no hits?

No one expects the butterfly
I've watched both his starts now since hes on my fantasy team. I might have to make this a regular thing, this kid's somethin else.
Well I'd say send him down to AAA. That's now 6 guys that have hit the ball to the outfield of the 53 that he's faced this season. If he can't keep that number to 5, why would you want him?
"I know a lot about the law and various other lawyerings."

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I don't understand Francona there. Romero got the first two outs, including a tough out vs. Sexson, yet he pulls him for the next RH batter (Guillen) who promptly kills a shot down the left-field line and then walks the next guy?
Overmanage much?
