Gutierrez smashed a line drive but it was right at the outfielder. Chris Dickerson is up, hopefully he can get the job done.

    I'd still take Lincecum(12IP 6H 0ER 5BB 17Ks in 2 starts in AAA).

Which has nothing to do with Drew Stubbs shutting up the people who said he couldnt hit.

which one good week for a 22 year old in Low A is unlikely to do either. He really needs to have to have a breakout season, 22 year olds need to dominate Low A. Not all that impressed with a .768 OPS.

It just hurts when I think about what could have been with 2 young studs in AAA

Lincecum's "risk" caused him to drop in the draft. He was by far the most polished and powerfull of the college arms that draft. But the potential of him blowing out his shoulder pretty much scared alot of people including yours truly.

I remember Krivsky talking about finding pitchers with mechanics that spell a long career. I knew Lincecum was going to be passed.

I think the Stubbs pick just showed what Krivsky and Buckley thought of that draft as well. While his OPS is weak, so is Votto's and Bruce hasn't hit much for power so far. Still alot of time left.

DanO may have gone with Tim however. Blame Cast, he shouldn't have been fired him to after the draft

You are awful positive about what 45 good innings have done but awful negative about 200 at bats....

Chattanooga trails 5-2 in the 11th or 12th.... bases still loaded for the opposition with 2 outs.

Make that 9-2. Montgomery scoring 7 here in the top of the 11th. Ouch.

i think szymanski will have a huge year. we have a couple good high upside outfield prospects with szymanski, stubbs, and dickerson to of course go along with bruce.
