    4/14/2007 Minor League Updates

Homer Bailey is pitching for the Bats later and hopefully someone can do pbp for it, as I have plans this evening.

Right now though the Sarasota Reds are playing and lead 2-1 in the second inning. Jay Bruce extended his hitting streak already with a single. Michael Griffin and Jeremiah Piepkorn also have hits.
    Richie Gardner has gone 2ip, 2h, 1er, 0bb, 2k.

Jay Bruce isn't hitting for a ton of power yet but the hits are falling for him. Also, he has three walks in 34 PA's so far, not great but not bad either. Hopefully he can continue improving on that.

Sean Watson is pitching for Dayton tonight. This will be the first time we've seen him since his impressive showing on Opening Night.

Jay Bruce tripled in his second at bat. He's now 2-for-2 on the night.

Dayton is rained out for tonight. Will be made up as a DH either May 14th or 15th.

Unreal. I don't think Sean Watson will ever pitch again.
