im encouraged by his first two starts, because his strikeout totals indicate that he hasnt had his best stuff, but the league is only hitting .118 off him. also, listening to most of his starts on the radio, it does not sound like many hitters are making good contact on him.
along with homer working on his stuff, i would also attribute the high walk totals a little bit to the bad weather.
