Thanks for the updates Doug.......
Stubbs and Valaika have been off to great starts.....It sure would be nice to see stubbs pick up some extra base hits though!
Any chance either one of these two is promoted before I get to see them in June??
Back to following MiLB; there's always hope for tomorrow!
Sarasota is under way
Travis Wood struck out 3 batters in the first.
The Reds hitters go 1-2-3 with Adam Rosales striking out.

Sarasota update
Jeremiah Piepkorn doubled to lead off the 2nd, then Craig Tatum homered later in the inning to give the Reds a 2-0 lead.
By the way, down in Sarasota, I saw Travis Wood, simple Arkansas farm boy, style by in a black Escalade....
Bud Selig: "I'm the worst commissioner ever"
Rob Manfred: "Hold my beer"

Sarasota Update
Travis Wood, 3ip, 1 unearned run, 3h, 1bb, 6k. 1/1 GO/FO
Someone do me a favor and link me to the Sarasota boxscore. For some reason the MILB scoreboard is still showing the probable pitchers and not updating the game.
Sarasota update
Jay Bruce singled in a run that plated Michael Griffin. that is 10 games with hits in a row for Jay.
Sarasota Box Score
Thanks Doug.
Bruce is a hitting machine.
Sarasota update
Jay Bruce stole home. Griffin and Rosales both reached on errors and scored.
Danny Dorn had an RBI single. Sarasota leads 5-1 still in the 3rd.
