    I'd just turn in a blank paper, take the 0, and find other more productive ways to spend your time.

    Like clipping your toe nails, sorting through the junk mail, or pretty much anything else.

    Poetry interpretation is one of the truly great wastes of time.

    And that's pretty much a direct quote from my college room mate, a language / literature professor who specializes in interpreting 20th century French poetry.
