    Pitching Prospects

O.k. I've already got Lincecum and Garza stashed on my roster for late arrivals, what other starting pitchers have the possibility of being called up?? I see the Yankees are already debating about whether to bring Hughes back up along with a guy named Wright who has pitched well in Double A.

    Re: Pitching Prospects

I probably don't need to say it, but if Bailey keeps pitching well (i.e. sub-2.50 ERA), you could see him getting a call-up. Yovani Gallardo, in Brewers AAA, is looking pretty nasty so far. Adam Miller, in Indians AAA, will probably get a long look before the end of the year. Jeff Niemann is a huge pitcher in the Devil Rays AAA rotation, and I think he will be very good in the big club's rotation at some point this year. Kevin Slowey, another Twins pitching prospect (and they have a ton, so he's probably not worth picking up just yet) has unbelievable command and has a good chance to be a key part of the team by the end of 2007.
