    GA Red - interesting story, but it's always helpful to give a bit more of a hint what the story's about (or even the thread).

    I've not heard of Rick Asadoorian and it will be interesting to see if he makes it as a pitcher. Of course, he is nearly 27 and just now pitching in the Florida State League.

    Yeah, but this is his first year pitching, so age isnt really going against him in this case.

    1st round draft pick in 1999 as an OF. He's been with the Reds for 2 or so years as an OF, but last year pitched in a game and hit 95 on the gun. He had like 7 K's in 4 innings or something to that nature, I can't remember exactly.
