Very interesting comments about Phil Dumatrait.
That is nice to hear about Dumatrait.... considering reports had him topping out at 88 last year in Louisville.
How long ago was Phil's TJ surgery? Maybe he has finally recovered from it. That is what he threw when the Reds traded for him in 03.
ok, 3 years ago.

this is actually his 3rd season post TJ. He missed all of 2004 with it.
That is very encouraging news about Dumatrait's velocity. Now if he could regain his snappy pre-TJ curveball, as well....
Thanks for posting that blog, OBM.
They mentioned his uptick in BA's daily prospect email as well. Perhaps at 25 it finally clicked for him.
Quote from the article. "Though he’s come a long way, Votto needs to improve his defensive footwork and throwing accuracy."
complaining about his throwing accuracy, that strikes me as a bit odd, he's a first baseman!!!
Phil is quietly dominating AAA now. Great 3 starts...
Cut Milton and bring him up, let Homer work down there
