Watch this be the day Garcia pitches up to his ability.

I like Garcia. But that's also because I like Garcia.

I would think the facial hair arabesques would be considered declasse.

This is normally true (and is a phrase I will be implementing into my vocabulary), but Garcia is given a pass due to his performance in the 2005 postseason, his interesting jewelry, and, uh, his previous run-ins with the law.

And Matt, there are plenty of players I don't like, but I don't talk about them here for fear of unintentional insulting of our fellow board members. But for the most part, yes, I'm indiscriminating.

We've been through this before, you know they won't. They just decided to skip the "day-to-day" label, and not say anything about it. Soon enough he will be on the DL.

Freddy Garcia has nothing left in his arm. We should score today.

Re: 4-22 vs Phillies -- No Griffey again

I'm going through some yahoo photos of the last couple of weeks of Reds games, and I just noticed that the away uniforms have double stripes on the sleeves. Great choice. I love the details on these uniforms.

And tell me these home uniforms don't look sharp:

    Griffey's not hurt....It is medical.

    That's all I can say.

I do think he is available today to pinch hit.
