    This is why I said that no one knows what we have in Matt Belisle as a MLB starter. He's been okay to start the season, but it could get really ugly with him really fast.

    As long as Matt settles down this inning, I'm not too worried. I expect the Reds lefties to generate some offense against Garcia...would have been nice if Griff could have added a little more punch.

    I agree. There hasn't been enough season for anyone who doesn't have a prior record of success to be 'proven'. That said, we have a few players I consider proven who are currently underacheiving. Hopefully, they'll have some hot streaks to catch up with their norm.

    I have railed against getting cable TV my entire adult life. I don't want the extra drain on my time, I don't want to pay the money, I have railed against it as a moral decay and as something responsible for the decline of family time and outdoor activity.

    Marty Brenneman is thisclose to making me renege on all of that.
    There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.
