I must be really blind to this stuff because this story shocked me.
I heard about this last year. It seemed that the students did not have a real problem with it. The majority of the white kids did not like rap music, they wanted rock n roll and country and vice versa. The media had the bigger problem with it, and the negative press put pressure on the school.
Why was it allowed at this school? Why was it not a problem in surrounding counties with similar student populations?
