Joey Votto just hit a 3 run HR. He is now 2-3 on the night with a double and a HR and 3 RBI.
Very, very encouraging to see. The hits haven't been falling for him the past two weeks, however, he has managed to walk 12 times in 60 atbats which is a very good sign. Look for him to get hot soon and end up having yet another great year at the plate.Originally Posted by dougdirt

Dewayne Wise just hit his 2nd HR of the night. Bats lead 5-2.

Through 6, Juan Francisco still has the Dragons only hit. Ramon Geronimo allowed 1 hit and no runs in a scoreless 6th inning.

BTW, Votto's homerun was to leftcenter field, as was his double last night and tonight. Good to see him hitting the ball to the opposite field.
I noticed that too OBM, hopefully tonight it a thing that gets him on track.

Joey Votto hit another double. 3-4 tonight with 2 doubles and a HR.
Joey Votto doubles again, he's now 3-for-4 with two doubles and a HR tonight. He came into tonight with 17 total bases this season, he has 8 alone tonight. Joey has pushed his SLG from .293 to .403 tonight.
According to gameday, both of Votto's doubles were hit to the warning track.
