I assume somebody snatched up Ryan Doumit in your league by now. If not, get him. He'll probably qualify at catcher in your league soon. Plus, he's been among the best hitters in the majors each of the last two weeks, and led the International League in OPS before being called up.

He's obviously going to cool off, but has had enough of a track record to suggest he'll be a plus-fantasy catcher, at minimum.

The Reds' equation this year is simple: Make Matt Belisle your #3 starter . . . trade for Blanton, win 85 or more, be in the mix all summer." - Paul Daugherty, Feb. 8, 2008

Jack Cust is on fire right now. So is Dan Johnson.

Scott Thorman looks to be putting it together. Byrd and Belisle will be good pitchers for this week and possibly further. And watch closely for whoever gets the call for Ponson.

I can't believe what Cust is doing.

James Shields SP D-Rays been a good find for my staff. He's pitched terrific this year.
If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.

Whoever starts on a given day vs. the Nationals should help out most pitching staffs.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

If you've waited this long, you've waited too long.

Jack Cust. It's not a fluke. He's a better hitter than any player that plays for the REDS, and at season's end will have 45 Homeruns.

Then why he was a minor league free agent?

Got 'em both in one league, and I got DJ in another.

Because he makes Adam Dunn look like Willie Mays in the field, and he makes Sean Casey look like Rickey Henderson on the basepaths.

I've always liked him, but that's a bit much don't ya think?

He's been held out of the majors for years by small sample size and his poor defense. That's unfortunate, as he's been too good to be in the minors (particularly for teams like Baltimore who gave up on him, and played Chris Gomez at 1B!)

But he's not a better hitter than Adam Dunn or Ken Griffey. And his defense is so bad, that I wouldn't want him on my roster over the likes of a Freel.

I picked him up on the cheap in my league, and decided to start him last week at the last minute. Good decision.

I scooped up Dan Johnson because my offense has been hit hard by injuries (Ryan Howard, Joe Mauer, Jim Thome, Jason Giambi).

If Pence is still available, grab him. Great night again last night. Just ignore those eyes, though.

Hit a homer tonight too. He's taken in one of my leagues, but I'm about to grab him in my other.

Hate to say it but Jorge Sosa has pitched well for the Mets, albeit a very small sample size thus far.
