    Baseball Tonight: Major League

I missed the first part of this segment, but from what I saw it was good stuff. For those who missed it they compared players from the movie Major League with who they would be in real life. The ones I saw were:
Jake Taylor - Paul Lo Duca
Pedro Cerrano - Wily Mo Pena
Willy Mayes Hayes - Julian Tavares
Lou Brown - Devil Rayes manager

Does anyone remember who they compared Rick Vaughn and Roger Dorn to?

Don't know who they actually did... but I'd give my Rick Vaughn vote to Daniel Cabrera

My mistake, it was Willy Taveras as Willie Mays Hayes, that makes a little more sense!

They didn't put a "Dorn" label on anyone? If we're sticking to 3B, I'll say Chipper Jones.

Also, the elderly pitcher, "Harris," would have to be Jamie Moyer.

Yeah, that makes more sense than Julian.

I'm probably biased, but Brandon Phillips would make a perfect Willie Mays Hayes.

Rick 'Wild Thing' Vaughn was compared to Daniel Cabrera. Dorn was compared to Phillies 3b Wes Helms. The crafty old left-hander in the film was compared to Jamie Moyer.

BTW, all three of the analysts on the set were wearing 'Wild Thing' glasses. Needless to say, Krukie was a hoot in his. They then did a little segment on memorable glasses-wearers in MLB. Some of the names mentioned were Chris Sabo, Eric Gagne, Tom Henke, K-Rod, Reggie Jackson and, of course, Harry Caray.

For Harris I would have selected Kenny Rogers.

Also, didn't Greg Maddux wear glasses? Or maybe he wore contacts prior to his laser surgery.

    Good call.

He always wore glasses in the dugout, but not on the field.
