    it's low A and he's a college player. He's supposed to dominate.

Whoever came up with that theory.... I would like to talk to. Most of the guys he is playing against are also college guys. Are they supposed to dominate? How can both sides of the table dominate? He is 21 years old and has pitched 20 innings, allowed 21 hits, 3 walks and has 23 strikeouts.... sometimes I think Reds fans will complain about anything. :thumbdown

Also, 7 of the 10 batters on the team he faced tonight were at least as old, if not older than Watson.

Generally speaking I agree, in highflyers case if he didn't complain I wouldn't believe it was him posting

Are we ever planning on getting some sort of MLB value out of Guevara and Medlock? How much more longer do we have to watch them dominate AA?

SD.... I am really beginning to wonder if they are prepping them for some sort of trade like they did with David Shafer who was clearly dominating.

What is up with Pelland and his low K rate??? Still having control issues. Wondering if he will ever hone his arsenal.

From the Chattanooga Times Free Press
Said Owens: "Pelland had his best outing of the year. He has not had the velocity he has shown us in the past, and there was a little concern about him worrying too much about control and not letting it go. He let it go tonight, and the kid got some great results from it."

I still like Pelland as a prospect -- probably out of the pen -- but it's going to take some patience. He's got a good arm.
