1B- Votto
2B- Phillips
SS- Gonzo
3B- Edwin
LF- Dunn

Lineup?
1. Hamilton
2. Phillips
3. Bruce
4. Encarnacion
5. Dunn
6. Votto
7. Gonzo
8. Catcher?
WOW!
I am willing to bet we don't see much of Stubbs and Gonzo in the same line up. Gonzo is out of here at the end of 09, and I would bet Stubbs gets a call up around mid to late 09.
Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

I have a hard time seeing the Reds keep all of their top hitting prospects as left handed hitters. We may see a trade for a Right handed hitter of approximately equal value to a team that needs a left handed bat, (see 2007 Reds for reasons why you don't want your "stars" to all be left handed). That being said, the above teams would/will terrorize right handed pitching.
How about the rotation as well?
Arroyo
Harang
Bailey
Cueto?
Dumatrait?
Livingston?
Thompson?
Milton?
I dont wanna burst your bubble but at one time I couldn't wait for Paul Householder, Duane Walker, Eddie Milner, Harry Spillman, Dave Van Gorder, Tom Lawless, Frank Pastore and Paul Moskau to hit the big club in the early 80's. They were the new BRM and there was nothing but good days ahead for the Reds with this cant miss bunch.
The reality is I cant get excited about ANY prospect (Homer included) until they show over a course of time that they can play in the bigs.

I was going to say that there was a time when we couldn't wait to see this lneup:
C Sardinha
1B Votto
2B Freel
3B Encarnacion
SS Lopez
LF Dunn
CF Denorfia
RF Kearns
This may be why RedsZone has such a hard time with Wayne Krivsky's deals for the likes of Hatteberg and Conine. We love those young guys who come up through our system with decent numbers, like Jim Bowden loves his five-toolers.
Eh i would say there was a time when we could wait to see
C Sardinha
1B Ben Broussard
2B Gookie Dawkins
SS David Espinosa
3B Brandon Larsons
LF Dunn
CF Griffey
RF Kearns
and Ty Howington Rob Bell and an assortment of other interesting arms I am forgetting...
ohh my that makes me depressed
Rob Bell?! Ben Broussard?!
Not with Chris Gruler and Mark Schramek in the organization.
Makes all the routine posts.
Chad Mottola, baby. Can't miss.
I'm just like everybody else. I have two arms, two legs and 4,000 hits."
