And I'm pretty low on funds. I was hoping you guys could help me come up with some inexpensive ideas to make her happy. She really does a lot for me while I'm stuck "paying my dues" and making little money....which makes me feel bad that I can't do a whole heck of a lot for her.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking about taking her to the Zoo...

Seriously, if you know how to cook, cook her a romantic dinner at your or her place. Soft music, candlelight, the whole 9 yards. Even if you don't look for something simple and try it. Even if dinner doesn't come out right, at least you tried and I think she would appreciate it.
Pack up some ham and cheese sandwiches and go to the park and have a picnic.
