Do you? He takes for ever to get to the ball to begin with. The usually throws the ball off line.

But its not necessarily just pitch calling. For all we know Narron calls all the pitches from the dugout for both Ross and Javy. But it's also how you set up behind the plate, what kind of target you give, how you frame pitches, when you go out and talk to the pitcher, setting the hitter up inside or outside, what kind of an arm the catcher has, etc. If it was as easy as letting the dugout call pitches, you and I could catch. There's a reason Ross keeps getting starts over Javy even though he's not even hitting his weight.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Reds don't score this inning.

If Everett could hit even half a lick, he would be a borderline HOF'er, as it is, he's the defensive version of Dunn....

They just showed Bagwell. Did the astros collect on the insurance claim, or did they have to pay him a big check?

Adam Everett is lineup sherbet. He cleanses your palette so you lose all taste of what was going on in the inning before he came up.
