Piepkorn Promoted, Lutz Suspended and other moves

Cosme went on DL and Piepkorn took his place. AAA signed Mike Edwards, Conway sent to AA and Purdom to High A, Lutz suspended (????) at Sarasota.

I know that isn't always bad... but it sounds bad.

That doesn't sound good for Lutz.... hopefully he beaned someone somewhere along the lines and is in trouble for that, although I don't recall that....

Sounds like I was correct about Lutz. He beaned a guy and got tossed from a game, which led to the suspension.

Is it time to move Dickerson to AAA and Rosales to AA, to play in the outfield if necessary to get him times to the plate?

How long is Lutz suspended for? 1-2 games or more?

What has Dickerson done to deserva a promotion (except for getting older)?

Actually I'd be more interested in seeing them push Rosales a little, but probably later in the season. I was primarily looking for a place to put Rosales while also getting at-bats--at the closest to appropriate level--for everyone still considered a prospect. Dickerson showed the ability to hit AA pitching the whole 2nd half of last year and has done so again this year--maybe not as well as we hoped, but with some consistency. To turn the Dickerson question around, is it more useful for the organization to have Edwards, Godwin, and Crosby be the starting outfielders at Louisville or for Dickerson to have one of those spots--and feel pushed a little--while one of the other three becomes the fourth outfielder?

Yes that would make sense, but only really if he's not playing enough now (or taking PT away from another prospect). Doesn't seem to be the case.
