So what. If he fouled it off he should ask the ump to get help. Why would he "sit down and shut up" if he really did get a piece of it?

Hitters who avoid outs are the funnest.

I'd rather have Hammy in to gain experience against lefties, so what if he isn't great.

He couldn't be much worse than this........

Maybe but he was pressing a little bit, I think it was the right move to give him a night off. And then right back in there tomorrow.

It's going to be a long year if we keep seeing Conine and Seabass as the 4/5 for much longer.

    Re: Reds Vs. Astros 5-3-07

Can somebody please tell me why Adam Dunn and his 8 homers, 16 RBIs, .265 batting average, and .924 OPS is hitting behind the likes of:

    Ryan Freel (.242 BA/.614 OPS)
    Phillips (.759 OPS)

Even if they started hot, Conine and Gonalez?

Why is Adam Dunn batting 6th in thiss lineup? It makes no sense.

I think the Reds have now scored 2 runs in Milty's 27 innings?

I agree it doesn't. Dunn should be 2nd. There's really nothing else to say.
