Looks like a pretty balanced lineup today for the reds

Hopefully arroyo can get some run support as well

I like Jerry giving BP a day off here.

My ideal situation for freel - Every week he give EE, BP, JR and Hamilton a day off. 4 starts a week right there. Maybe give Jr. or Hamilton 2 days off a week. But 4 to 5 starts a week is good for freel, and good for keeping every one else fresh.

I'd like to see Hamilton higher in the lineup.

If this lineup with Arroyo going can't get a W against the Rockies, this team is in serious trouble.

No reason for Hamilton to be hitting after Gonzo.. none at all..
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

Nice to see EE in the clean up spot.

It sure would be nice to salvage this last game with the Rocks before we face Houston again.

I've loved this idea for a long time. Keeps everyone fresh and also keeps everyone getting ABs. I'd probably throw Dunn in there, too. Probably even before I'd throw BP in there.
Here's to another record-breaking season from Adam Dunn ...another 40 homeruns (all coming with nothing on the line) and 200 Ks! We Want King Jay!!

    Agreed.

I had a feeling Jerry might put Freel at 2nd today. Not alot to complain about with this lineup (which probably means we will get shutout), except I'd like to see Hamilton hitting a bit higher.

EE in the cleanup spot is nice.

After further review, how is EdE higher in the order than Josh and/or AGon??

    1. You can't hit Josh 4th and have 4 lefties in a row.
    2. I don't care how they started this year, Edwin's a much better hitter then Seabass.
