Simply stunning. The atbats by Phillips and EdE that is. Unreal. It's almost hilarious how dumb this team can be.

And Welsch sounds just as dumb. No way those two guys should have been first pitch swinging after a walk.

Not to mention the fact they both FOULED out. They didn't exactly hammer balls right at the D.

That 1-0 pitch to Dunn was in the same location as the 3-2 pitch to Griffey. Difference is, it was called a ball on Griff and a strike on Dunn should have been a 2-0 count.

Crafty just gave a verbal smack down to Thom..."those walks were tough walks, he's not wild, those were not 4 pitch walks..you can't the bat out their hands in the first inning..."

EdE's at bat was a fastball right down the middle. It was a 7 pitch walk to Hatteberg and a 7 pitch walk to Junior. Its not like he is amazingly wild. He isn't. It was a good pitch to hit - he just missed it. It happens.

Do you guys just need to complain about everything?
