    Freel the hugger!

Anyone else get a kick out of Freel hugging Hamilton after his two HR's? When everyone else is giving him high fives, Freel seems to be the first in the dugout to congratutalate JH with an embracing hug. It's as if he didn't want to let go, lol.

Considering that Hamilton's success has essentially pushed Freel back into the super-sub role, you have to credit Freel as a clubhouse guy for being so excited for Josh. I think that's pretty cool.

Freel is definitely the ultimate team player. He hates to sit, yet he realizes Hamilton's value to this team.

Seeing Freel around Hamilton and hearing him talk about him has made me even more of a Freel fan. It's easy to see how much he respects what Hamilton is doing. It really shines the "team player" light on Freel. His eyes light up with amazement every time Hamilton does something special, just like the rest of us. I noticed the huggng during yesterday's game and could only laugh to myself. I thought it was great. I also remember a couple games this year where Freel was showed coming home on a Hamilton home run and Freel was just shaking his head and smiling in awe. It's nice to know that these superstars can still aprreciate the game.

For a moment, I thought Sean "Mr. Hugs" Casey might be back.

I think that Freel has a contagious attitude that can make a team feel more like a team. Definitely worth the money and definitely the kind of person taht we want on this team. You complain about his stats but they're not that bad, he doesn't cost that much and other teams have kept around guys that are a good clubhouse influence and paid them tons. Jason Varitek comes to mind and they still love him at his ridiculous salary.

Freel seems to be Josh's biggest fan. Everyone's rooting for him, but Freel seems to having just a little more fun watching this story unfold.
