    Ryan Freel observation

I have no statistical data to back up my theory, but it seems to me Ryan Freel is a better player when he's bouncing around from 3rd to 2nd to OF. I don't know what it is, but he seems to perform better, particularly at the plate, when he's playing multiple positions from night to night.
As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.

This seems to be a pretty common insight about Freel, and I think that's why Narron et al. us him as a super-sub. The other common perception is that he plays better when he rests a couple of times a week. I'm pretty sure there was some in-deoth statistical research posted on this topic somewhere on this board, but I'm not sure exactly when or where.
